Automation and integrations
Connecting systems that don't talk to each other and removing the manual work that repeats every day.
01
The problem
Copying data from one tool to another by hand is slow and it is where mistakes happen. Often a few well-built integrations are enough for that to stop being done by hand.
02
What I've done
At Entreredes I integrated Gemini into the SaaS through job queues (asynchronous Jobs in Laravel), so heavy tasks ran in the background without blocking anyone. It is the same approach I would take with any automation.
- -Background workHeavy work goes to queues, so the application keeps responding in the meantime.
- -API integrationsConnecting external services, AI included, so that if one fails the whole thing does not go down.
- -Less manual workFind what repeats and really automate it, not just move it somewhere else.
- -TraceableClear logs to know what happened when something does not go as expected.

How I'd do it
Map the process
What is done by hand, how often and between which tools.
- ›Repetitive processes
- ›Tools involved
Automate
Integrations and job queues, starting with what takes the most time.

- ›Job queues
- ›Error handling
Keep an eye on it
Logs and alerts to find out if something fails.
